This is not just a typical fountain that can be seen in most theme parks, which lies at the center part of the Downtown in Dubai. It can actually shoot around 830,000 liters of water. It has 6,600 lights along with its 25 colored projectors where visitors could feel that they are watching an animated presentation, illuminated through waters on this fountain. It is being played along with modern and classical World and Arabic music as part of the signature of this place since its inauguration in 2009.

It is the unnatural or synthetic islands or archipelago located in the coast of Persian Gulf. It was created as a result of the combined resort engineering and residential vision that provides an excellent transport system to its visitors. In fact, you could drive around the area via a taxi at a fair price.

This is another artificial island like the Palm Islands that contain 300 small archipelagos that are shaped like the map of the world. It is situated at the east coast of Dubai, which is also developed by the same developer of the Palm Islands. Moreover, there are four major transportations that serve this place, which are joined through waterways. There are series of developments made since 2003, and the latest was the opening of the Royal Island Beach Club on July 17, 2012.

You could find various artifacts and dioramas that depict the life that people had, which opens the minds of the people about the development that the city underwent.

Its construction started in 2004, and it has 163 floors, which is known as the tallest structure in UAE, known as Burj Dubai before it had its inauguration. It is also called as a skyscraper in the city since it stands 2,722 feet or equivalent to 829.8m. It has 8 escalators and 57 elevators wherein each elevator can carry 12 to 14 people. It serves as a visitor center, launching of several events and communication channel.

4. The Dubai Mall

It has over 1,200 retail outlets, 160 food & beverage outlets, and two anchor department stores. This is included in the $20 billion project allocated for Burj Khalifa building that makes this mall as the biggest and largest shopping mall in UAE. It was opened in 2008 and offers other activities aside from shopping. It has a movie theatre where you could see the 22-screen cinema, which is comparable to what is seen at London’s Regent Street. It had 54 million visitors in 2011 and it still holds the title as the most visited mall in the world.

It may be considered as part of the Mall of Emirates, but it is built in the Dubai area. It is also the first indoor ski resort in the country that is measured 22,500 square meters. It started its operation in 2005 where you could see the 85-meter-high indoor winter paradise that has 5 slopes that vary according to the level of difficulty and steepness. It has received the Thea Outstanding Achievement Award in 2007, and it became one of the locations of the first season of the Amazing Race in Asia.

It is built on the Juremiah beach artificial islands that are joined through a bridge. The unique feature of it is the ship sail shape, which makes it as a recognized 7-star hotel in the world. It stands 322 meters when it was constructed in 1994, and was finished in 1999. It has 18 elevators and 60 floors. It has large rocks on its surface to protect the building against erosion.
